Greasy Mr. Rogers

Summer, summer, where art thou? My most beloved season was but a whisper away last week, and now has lept back into the ether as quick as the thief of dreams at dawn first stirrings. And I wax poetic in memorandum of the tease of a heat wave. The high was 72degF just 3 days ago!

Pump it up, warm, balmy weather! Pump!

Now why did I title this entry Greasy Mr. Rogers? WELL

today, I had two songs stuck in my head: The Mr. Roger's Show theme song and Summer Nights from Grease. What a combo, right? The Mr. Roger's lick got stuck after I heard from a lecturer for the first time in years that there is "homework." That sort of thing was just assumed after high school, but it was endearing hearing it again. Not that high school and Mr. Roger's have much in common. However, Mr. Rogers did pass away shortly after my high school graduation. The respected Reverend Fred Rogers passed away on 2/27/2003, according to Wikipedia. So let's hear it one more time for Fred, everybody.
